Richard Wright, o pianista e compositor de temas como “Wish You Were Here” ou “Shine on You Crazy Diamond”, membro dos Pink Floyd, morreu de cancro na segunda-feira(15 Setembro 2008).

O seu verdadeiro nome é Jonas Erik Altberg. Começou a fazer a sua música num computador utilizando o programa Fruit Loops (FL) Studio.
Em 2004, Basshunter lança o seu primeiro álbum, “The Bassmachine“, através da sua própria página pessoal!
Ficou mais conhecido depois de ter feito a musica “Boten Anna“, que significa “Um Bot Chamado Anna”.
